How to Pack Luggage

We make it easy to ship your luggage safely and conveniently. Learn how to pack luggage for shipping in just a few simple steps. 

Step 1 - Prepare your luggage

Your luggage must be securely packaged in a roller suitcase, duffle bag or box. If you’re shipping luggage in a suitcase or duffle bag, you may additionally package your items in a box for an added layer of protection.

Step 2 - Protect the contents

Use bubble wrap or packing paper to protect any valuable contents inside your luggage throughout transit.

Step 3 - Pack properly

Prohibited items may not be packed in your luggage under any circumstances. Be sure to remove any prohibited items from your baggage before shipping.

Step 4 - Label your shipment

Place one shipping label inside of your luggage and attach the other to the outside. If you’re shipping luggage in a hard-sided suitcase or box, use packing tape to secure the exterior shipping label. If shipping in a soft-sided suitcase or duffle bag, use a luggage tag to securely attach your shipping label.
